Urynkowienie biopolityki

Uproszczony widok
The goal of the article is to describe the different aspects of marketization of modern biopolitics. The analysis is based mainly on the Nikolas Rose’s theory of politics of life itself. The article starts with a brief description of the project of bioeconomy. Than it shows how life can be commodified and commercialized in two different meanings – as zoe and bios. Finally, the article discusses the project of bioeconomy in the context of global health inequalities – showing why Rose disagrees with Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri’s vision of biopolitics.
