The intensity of emotions, attachment style and emotion regulation flexibility

dc.abstract.enThe study aims to explore the possibility of a correlation between various attachment styles and the intensity of emotions experienced, in connection to emotion regulation flexibility. The research employed several established measures including the ECR-R, EIS, FLEX-ER 26, and SWLS, filled out by the participants. The findings confirmed that anxious attachment is positively associated with negative emotional intensity, while avoidant attachment correlates negatively with positive emotional intensity. Additionally, anxious attachment was negatively linked to flexibility in emotion regulation. The study also found that emotion regulation flexibility is positively correlated with life satisfaction.
dc.abstract.plPraca ta przedstawia wyniki badanie, które eksplorowało związek między różnymi stylami przywiązania, intensywnością doświadczanych emocji oraz elastycznością regulacji emocji. W badaniu zastosowano kilka uznanych miar, w tym ECR-R, EIS, FLEX-ER 26 i SWLS. Wyniki potwierdziły, że lękowy styl przywiązania jest związany z pozytywnie z intensywnością negatywnych emocji, podczas gdy styl unikający koreluje negatywnie z intensywnością pozytywnych emocji. Dodatkowo nasilenie stylu lękowego było związany negatywnie z elastycznością regulacji emocji. Badanie wykazało również, że większa elastyczność regulacji emocji jest pozytywnie skorelowana z satysfakcją z życia.
