Stres, dobrostan psychiczny a wsparcie społeczne u rodziców dzieci głuchych w porównaniu z rodzicami dzieci słyszących

dc.abstract.enThe study aimed to investigate differences in stress levels and psychological well-being between parents of deaf and hearing children. It explored the social situation of deaf individuals in Poland and the challenges faced by their parents. Additionally, models of disability perception and the significance of the variables mentioned in the title were discussed. The research was conducted using questionnaires designed to analyze the specified variables, which were distributed online. The study involved 80 participants—parents of deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing children. The results indicated no statistically significant differences between the groups, regardless of the variables analyzed. Subsequently, three additional differentiating variables were considered: the presence of a cochlear implant, the age of hearing loss onset, and the degree of hearing loss. Again, no significant differences were found between the groups. The analysis took into account factors that could have influenced the results. Attention was drawn to technological advancements and the socio-economic context, suggesting that these factors may have contributed to the observed outcomes.
dc.abstract.plBadanie miało na celu zbadanie różnic w poziomie stresu oraz dobrostanu psychicznego pomiędzy grupą rodziców dzieci głuchych i słyszących. Przedstawiono sytuacje społeczną osób głuchych w Polsce i trudności z jakimi zmagają się ich rodzice. Omówiono również modele postrzegania niepełnosprawności, a także znaczenie zmiennych podanych w tytule. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone za pomocą kwestionariuszy, które miały na celu analizę wspomnianych zmiennych. Ankiety wypełniano drogą internetową. W badaniu wzięło udział 80 osób – rodziców dzieci głuchych, niedosłyszących oraz słyszących. Wyniki badania wskazały na brak istotnych statystycznie różnic między grupami, niezależnie od analizowanych zmiennych. Następnie uwzględniono trzy dodatkowe zmienne różnicujące: posiadanie implantu, wiek utraty słuchu oraz poziom ubytku słuchu. Również w tym przypadku nie stwierdzono istotnych różnic między badanymi grupami. W analizie rozważono czynniki, które mogły wpłynąć na uzyskane wyniki. Zwrócono uwagę na rozwój technologiczny oraz sytuację społeczno-ekonomiczną, sugerując, że to właśnie te czynniki mogą mieć wpływ na zaobserwowane wyniki.
