China-Visegrad Group Cooperation within the One Belt, One Road Initiative

dc.abstract.en“One Belt One Road Initiative” represents an ambitious project to recreate China’s historic Silk Road and maritime trading routes which connect Asia, Africa and Europe. It is an initiative spanning a multitude of projects made to enhance the flow of goods, investment, culture and people. Under the OBOR, China and its OBOR members have created a new model of international relations based on mutual respect and benefit, win-win cooperation and collective learning between the member states. It represents highly advanced ideas of the development of interconnection activity, not only within China’s neighbor countries but also globally. The main purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current influence and status of cooperation between China and Visegrad Group under the OBOR initiative, to highlight the significance of China and Visegrad Group design effective countermeasures for future cooperation and influence.
