dc.abstract.enThe article arises from observations on the terminological inadequacy pertaining to today’s reality, and from the analysis of the consequences of using prefixes “neo-” and “post-”. It thereby indicates the need to focus on the question of extending life and on the ideational influence of progressive doctrines as causes of the poverty of reflection on new terminology appropriate to contemporary challenges. In the face of the ever-evolving world, that terminology may be sought in a systemic approach.
