Góra Kawiarnia. Miejsce, ludzie i rzeczy rowerowe

dc.abstract.enThe paper is dedicated to the functioning of the Góra Kawiarnia (a Polish cycling café) as a bottom-up exhibition initiative. It examines how this initiative brings together a national cycling subculture by offering collective collecting practices and participatory initiatives. The objective is to utilise anthropological theory of objects, collecting and the transformations of contemporary museology in order to demonstrate the potential of Góra Kawiarnia to become a social archive of collective memory. Furthermore, the analysis will illustrate how the café can be regarded as an exemplar of a model of a natural place for artefacts that meets the needs of the modern cultural participant.
dc.abstract.plPraca jest poświęcona funkcjonowaniu Góry Kawiarni (polskiej kawiarni kolarskiej) jako oddolnej inicjatywy wystawienniczej, która oferując zbiorowe praktyki kolekcjonerskie i inicjatywy partycypacyjne, gromadzi wokół siebie krajową subkulturę rowerową. Posłużenie się antropologiczną teorią przedmiotów, kolekcjonerstwa oraz przemian współczesnego muzealnictwa ma na celu nie tylko podkreślenie potencjału Góry Kawiarni do stanowienia społecznego archiwum zbiorowej pamięci, lecz także wskazanie kawiarni jako reprezentatywnego przykładu realizacji modelu „naturalnego” miejsca dla artefaktów, które odpowiada potrzebom nowoczesnego uczestnika życia kulturalnego.
