dc.abstract.enThe aim of this work is to analyze the translation solutions selected in the translation process. The first part addresses selected issues in the field of translation studies, comparing definitions of translation by Oettinger, Catford, Nida, Taber, and Wilss. Translation theories by Humboldt, Weisgerber, Whorf, Chomsky, Nida, Taber, and Koschmeider are discussed. The second part delves into the topic of poetry translation, presenting translation strategies and techniques by Lewicki, Balcerzan, and Wilss. Criteria for evaluating translations by Stolze and Klöpfer are presented, as well as translation criticism models by Reiß and House. The third part focuses on Wisława Szymborska and translator Karl Dedecius. It explores Szymborska's role as a writer, her artistic work, and the reception of her poetry in Poland and Germany. Dedecius' work is presented, detailing his collaboration with Szymborska. The subsequent section introduces translations of Szymborska's poems, accompanied by a detailed analysis of selected translation solutions based on Lewicki's model of translational transformations. The final part presents conclusions regarding the translator's applied translation solutions and discusses the analysis results within the context of the theoretical portion of the work.

dc.abstract.otherDas Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse der im Übersetzungsprozess ausgewählten Übersetzungslösungen. Im ersten Teil wurden ausgewählte Probleme aus dem Bereich der Übersetzungswissenschaft behandelt. Zuerst wurden die Definitionen der Übersetzung nach Oettinger, Catford, Nida und Taber sowie Wilss dargestellt und miteinander verglichen. Weiter wurden Übersetzungstheorien von Humboldt, Weisgerber, Whorf, Chomsky, Nida und Taber sowie Koschmeider diskutiert. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wurde das Thema der Lyriksübersetzung vertieft. Es wurden Übersetzungsstrategien und -techniken nach Lewicki, Balcerzan und Wilss vorgestellt und die Kriterien für die Bewertung von Übersetzungen nach Stolze und Klöpfer, sowie die Übersetzungskritikmodelle von Reiß und House wurden diskutiert. Der dritte Teil der Arbeit bezieht sich auf Wisława Szymborska und den Übersetzer Karl Dedecius. Der Anfang widmet sich der Tätigkeit von Szymborska als Schriftstellerin, ihrem künstlerischen Werk und der Rezeption von Szymborskas Poesie in Polen und Deutschland. Anschließend wurde die Tätigkeit des Übersetzers Karl Dedecius vorgestellt und es wurde auf den Verlauf seiner Zusammenarbeit mit Szymborska eingegangen. Im nächsten Teil der Arbeit wurden die Übersetzungen der Gedichte von Szymborska zusammen mit einer detaillierten Analyse ausgewählter Übersetzungslösungen vorgestellt. Die Analyse basiert auf dem Modell der translatorischen Transformationen von Lewicki. Im letzten Teil wurden Schlussfolgerungen zu den vom Übersetzer angewandten Übersetzungslösungen vorgestellt und die Ergebnisse der Ana-lyse im Kontext des theoretischen Teils der Arbeit wurden diskutiert.
dc.abstract.plCelem niniejszej pracy jest analiza wyborów tłumaczeniowych dokonanych w procesie translatorskim. W pierwszym rozdziale zostały poruszone wybrane problemy z dziedziny translatoryki: przytoczono i zestawiono ze sobą definicje tłumaczenia według Oettingera, Catforda, Nidy i Tabera oraz Wilssa, następnie omówiono teorie przekładu zaproponowane przez Humboldta, Weisgerber, Whorfa, Chomsky’iego, Nidy i Tabera oraz Koschmeidera,. W drugim rozdziale pracy rozwinięto temat poezji w tłumaczeniach: przedstawiono strategie i techniki tłumaczeniowe według Lewickiego, Balcerzana i Wilssa, omówiono założenia Stolze i Klöpfera odnośnie do kryteriów oceny przekładu, a także przytoczono modele krytyki przekładu opracowane przez Reiß i House. Trzeci rozdział pracy dotyczy Wisławy Szymborskiej i tłumacza Karla Dedeciusa. Początek został poświęcony działalności Szymborskiej jako pisarki, jej dorobkowi artystycznemu, a także recepcji poezji Szymborskiej w Polsce i w Niemczech. Następnie przedstawiono działalność tłumacza Karla Dedeciusa, a także podjęto temat przebiegu jego współpracy z Szymborską. W kolejnym rozdziale zaprezentowane zostały tłumaczenia wierszy Szymborskiej dokonane przez Karla Dedeciusa wraz z dokładną analizą wybranych przez Dedeciusa rozwiązań tłumaczeniowych. Analiza bazuje na modelu transformacji translatorycznych zaproponowanym przez Lewickiego. W ostatnim rozdziale przedstawiono wnioski odnośnie do zastosowanych przez tłumacza rozwiązań translatorycznych, a także omówiono wynik analizy w kontekście części teoretycznej pracy.
