Charakterystyka twórczości zespołu Magma

dc.abstract.enThe band Magma is renowned in the progressive rock scene for its unique approach to the genre. Their music is also classified as zeuhl. In this paper, I endeavored to characterize the art work of Magma both musically and beyond. I began by presenting the artistic biography of the band Magma, divided into periods of development. In the following chapter, I analyzed the characteristics of Magma's musical style. The final chapter was dedicated to examining the elements of the genre in which Magma operates, namely the Kobaïan language and escapism, which are expressed through this mythology alongside the music. I scrutinized the distinctive features of this band and elucidated the uniqueness of Magma compared to other progressive rock bands.
dc.abstract.plZespół Magma jest znany na scenie rocka progresywnego ze względu na swoje podejście do tego gatunku. Muzyka tego zespołu jest określana również jako zeuhl. W tej pracy starałem się za pomocą analizy scharakteryzować twórczość zespołu Magma w kontekście muzycznym oraz pozamuzycznym. Na początku przedstawiłem biografię artystyczną zespołu Magma z podziałem na okresy rozwoju. W następnym rozdziale poddałem analizie cechy stylu muzycznego Magmy. Ostatni rozdział poświęciłem analizie elementów gatunku w jakim tworzy Magma, czyli języka kobaïańskiego oraz eskapizmu, który przez tą mitologię wraz z muzyką jest wyrażany. Przeanalizowałem cechy charakterystyczne tego zespołu oraz przedstawiłem na czym polega unikatowość zespołu Magma na tle innych zespołów progresywno-rockowych.
