ZMIANY NA RYNKU PRACY W SEKTORZE TURYSTYCZNYM W POLSCE W DOBIE PANDEMII COVID-19

dc.abstract.enThe tourism sector, apart from the aviation sector and the entertainment industry, was one of the most affected during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-2021. The tourism industry suffered not only from regulations restricting its activities during individual waves of the pandemic, but also from demand constraints and the fear of traveling during the pandemic. The aim of this article was to answer the question: How has the labor market in the tourism sector been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic? How large the declines in employment have been and how has the tourism sector dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic and disruptions to the sector’s operations? Did the labor market react similarly to each wave of the pandemic (first to fifth)?
dc.abstract.plSektor turystyki obok lotniczego i branży rozrywkowej należał w latach 2020–2021 do jednego z najbardziej poszkodowanych segmentów gospodarki podczas pandemii COVID-19. Ucierpiał nie tylko z powodu regulacji ograniczających jego działalności w poszczególnych falach pandemii, ale także w związku ze spadkiem popytu oraz lękiem przed podróżowaniem w tym czasie. Celem prezentowanego artykułu było uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytania: Jak rynek pracy w turystyce reagował na pandemię COVID-19? W jaki sposób sektor turystyki radził sobie z pandemią COVID-19 oraz czy mechanizmy reakcji rynku pracy na poszczególne jej fale były takie same?
