Nieznana korespondencja Marii Konopnickiej w zbiorach Gabinetu Rękopisów Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej w Warszawie

The subject of the article is Maria Konopnicka’s unpublished correspondence with five people, including nine small letters from the years 1888-1910, stored in the Manuscripts Department of University of Warsaw Library. Among the recipients are Felicjan Faleński, Wiktor Gomulicki and Wiktor Hahn. The letters concern e.g. Maria Konopnicka’s participation in Polish scientific and cultural life in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Scientifically researched and placed in a broad biographical and historical context, these texts can be an important source for research on the life of Maria Konopnicka and Polish culture at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.
