Protesty na Placu Tian’anmen w Pekinie wiosną 1989 r. Przyczyny, przebieg i skutki

dc.abstract.enThe work The Tian'anmen Square Protests in Beijing in the Spring of 1989. Causes, Course and Effects. deals with the subject of the genesis, course and consequences of the April-June events in 1989 on Tian'anmen Square in Beijing. The thesis hypothesis was that the protests on Tian'anmen Square in Beijing in the spring of 1989 were the result of the growing dissatisfaction of Chinese citizens caused by economic problems, corruption and lack of freedom of speech, and their brutal suppression by the PLA had long-term consequences for both China's domestic policy and the country's image in the international arena. The work was based on literature and scientific articles on the causes of the demonstrations, their course and effects. Additionally, Internet articles were used to describe and analyse the terminology of the events, deaths toll, and the events related to the topic of the Tian'anmen Square massacre in the 21st century.

Przyczyny, przebieg i skutki.” zajmuje się tematyką genezy, przebiegu i konsekwencji wydarzeń kwietniowo-czerwcowych w 1989 r. na placu Tian’anmen w Pekinie. Za hipotezę badawczą przyjęto, że protesty na placu Tian’anmen w Pekinie wiosną 1989 roku były skutkiem narastającego niezadowolenia obywateli Chin spowodowanego problemami gospodarczymi, korupcją i brakiem wolności słowa, a ich brutalne stłumienie przez ChAL-W miało długotrwałe konsekwencje zarówno dla wewnętrznej polityki Chin, jak i dla wizerunku kraju na arenie międzynarodowej. Do napisania pracy wykorzystano literaturę i artykuły naukowe dotyczącą przyczyn demonstracji, ich przebiegu oraz skutków. W dodatku korzystano także artykułów internetowych służących opisaniu i przeanalizowaniu terminologii wydarzeń, ilości ofiar śmiertelnych, a także sytuacji związanej z tematem masakry na placu Tian’anmen w XXI w.
