Electrochemical chemo‐ and biosensors based on microgels immobilized on electrode surface

Applications of nano- and microparticles of hydrogels in the modification of electrode surfaces and corresponding constructions of electrochemical sensors are presented in the study. Despite the fact that such a use of microgels started just a few years ago, several analytical possibilities were offered already. They include monitoring, under various conditions, of drugs including antibiotics, herbicides, glucose, and other molecules. A variety of electrochemical techniques were employed in the measurements.
