dc.abstract.enThe paper addresses issues related to internet addiction, mainly educating about FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). The subject matter of the paper presents the characteristics of addiction, its stages, and how it operates. The following chapters explain what FOMO is, how to recognize and diagnose it. It shows its symptoms and how it develops in light of available research. The final chapters of the paper contain information about JOMO (Joy of Missing Out) and how to cope with the fear of disconnection.
dc.abstract.plPraca porusza zagadnienia związane z uzależnieniem od internetu, głównie edukując o FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), czyli lęku przed ominięciem. Tematyka pracy przedstawia charakterystykę uzależnienia, jego etapy oraz sposób działania. Kolejne rozdziały przedstawiają, czym jest wspomniane FOMO, jak je rozpoznać i zdiagnozować. Pokazuje jego objawy oraz to, jak formuje się w świetle dostępnych badań. W ostatnich rozdziałach pracy znajdują się informacje o JOMO (Joy of Missing Out), czyli radości z ominięcia oraz o tym, jak radzić sobie ze strachem przed odłączeniem.
