Konflikt między jezuitami i franciszkanami w Japonii w XVI i XVII w.

dc.abstract.enThe following work tries to describe and analyze the conflict between the Jesuits and the Franciscans in Japan in XVI and XVII centuries. Focusing primarily on works written by Martín Aguirre de la Ascensión, Alessandro Valignano and Valentim Carvalho. Description of the genesis and the character of the Japan mission carried out by members of both orders make up an important part of the following work. Main causes of the conflict were: initial monopoly on the evangelization claimed by the Jesuits, differences in approach to christianization represented by both orders as well as the involvement of the Jesuits in the silk trade. The accusations and the counterarguments of both sides were gathered and the conflict was analyzed and summarized.
dc.abstract.plW niniejszej pracy podjęta została próba opisu i analizy konfliktu, jaki miał miejsce pomiędzy zakonami jezuitów i franciszkanów w Japonii w XVI i XVII w. Analiza skupia się przede wszystkim na tekstach Martina Aguirre de la Ascensión, Alessandro Valignano i Valentima Carvalho. Ważnym elementem wprowadzającym jest opis genezy i charakteru misji prowadzonych na terenie Japonii przez przedstawicieli obu zakonów. Główne punkty sporne stanowiły: początkowy monopol jezuicki na ewangelizację, odmienne podejścia do chrystianizacji reprezentowane przez oba zgromadzenia oraz udział członków Towarzystwa Jezusowego w handlu jedwabiem. Przytoczone zostały zarzuty i kontrargumenty obu stron oraz analiza i podsumowanie sporu.
