On Some Problems with Truth and Satisfaction

dc.abstract.enWe compare two approaches to semantics: one of them takes the notion of satisfaction as basic, treating the concept of truth as defined in terms of satisfaction; the second approach treats the notion of truth as primary. We search for a minimally adequate semantic theory, guaranteeing a mutual definability of truth and satisfaction.
