Kwestia stabilności granic w Afryce na przykładzie Sudanu

dc.abstract.enThe work is a study of the issues of post-colonial borders in Africa and their unstable nature. Border protection mechanisms, both global and regional, are analyzed and confronted with the case of Sudan. South Sudan, which seceded, had no de jure relationship with any administrative unit that existed during the colonial period. The evolution of the Sudanese borders and the international treaties shaping them are presented. The impact of internal variables on the boundaries is assessed. These variables include the ethnic structure and relations between individual ethnic groups, the dominant leadership model and its characteristics, and the impact of the ideologies dominant in Africa on identity-forming processes in Sudan. External factors destabilizing the borders in Africa are also discussed, such as the impact of natural resources on the transformation of conflicts, the participation of international actors and their contribution to the war for independence of South Sudan, and the impact of climate change on the escalation of social frictions on the example of the war in Darfur. .
dc.abstract.plPraca stanowi studium problematyki granic postkolonialnych w Afryce i ich chwiejnej natury. Analizie poddane zostają mechanizmy ochrony granic zarówno o wymiarze globalnym jak i regionalnym i skonfrontowane zostają z kazusem Sudanu. Sudan Południowy, który dokonał secesji nie miał de iure pokrycia z jakąkolwiek istniejącą w okresie kolonialnym jednostką administracyjną. Przedstawiona zostaje ewolucja granic sudańskich oraz kształtujących je dokumentów prawnomiędzynarodowych. Ocenie poddany zostaje wpływ zmiennych wewnętrznych na granice. Do tych zmiennych zaliczają się struktura etniczna i stosunki między poszczególnymi grupami etnicznymi, dominujący model przywództwa i jego charakterystyka oraz wpływ dominujących w Afryce ideologii na procesy tożsamościotwórcze w Sudanie. Poruszone zostają również zewnętrzne czynniki destabilizujące granice w Afryce jak wpływ surowców naturalnych na przeobrażenie konfliktów, udział aktorów międzynarodowych i ich wkład w wojnę o niepodległość Sudanu Południowego, oraz wpływ zmian klimatu na eskalację tarć społecznych na przykładzie wojny w Darfurze.
