Polityczne i ekonomiczne uwarunkowania dezinformacji w sytuacji pandemii COVID-19. Porównawcze studium przypadków z Polski i Serbii

dc.abstract.enThe thesis presents the results of the interdisciplinary research on the phenomenon of disinformation based on concepts from sociology and media studies. The author analyses the political and economic conditions of disinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic from the point of view of journalists in Poland and Serbia. To do so, he applies the concept of 'media capture' and critical communication theory. In the literature, more attention is paid to the political causes of disinformation and media weakness in Central European countries. Through the analysis of interviews, insight into the economic perceptions of the causes of disinformation was gained, namely: media funding models, the treatment of information and attention as a resource, and the deteriorating working conditions of journalists.
dc.abstract.plPraca przedstawia wyniki badań nad zjawiskiem dezinformacji na pograniczu socjologii i medioznawstwa. Autor analizuje polityczno-ekonomiczne uwarunkowania dezinformacji w trakcie pandemii COVID-19 z punktu widzenia pracowników mediów w Polsce i Serbii. W tym celu stosuje koncepcję „przechwytywania mediów” (media capture) oraz krytyczną teorię komunikacji. W literaturze przedmiotu większą uwagę zwraca się na polityczne przyczyny dezinformacji i słabości mediów w krajach Europy Środkowej. Dzięki analizie wywiadów, uzyskano wgląd w ekonomiczne postrzeganie przyczyn dezinformacji, czyli: modele finansowania mediów, traktowanie informacji i uwagi jako zasobu oraz pogarszające się warunki pracy dziennikarzy.
