Media w systemach autorytarnych - studium przypadku Białorusi

dc.abstract.enThe below work Media in authoritarian systems- a case study of Belarus analyzes the role of the media in the context of the authoritarian regime in Belarus. The study focuses on how the central government controls the media and what violations of freedom of the press and speech take place in this state. The work also describes the role of mass media as a tool of propaganda, control of society and the promotion of ideology by the ruling system. The research presents an analysis of the authoritarian regime and its characteristics, propaganda, Belarusian legislation and its system, as well as media law, pointing to numerous cases of repression of the media and journalists and the role of the media in the context of the 2020 presidential elections and the protests that responded to them. As a result, the work indicates that the media in Belarus are under strong control of the authorities and that violations of civil liberties are common. However, despite these difficulties, the media remain an important tool of the opposition and civil society in the pursuit of democratic changes in the state.
dc.abstract.plPoniższa praca „Media w systemach autorytarnych – studium przypadku Białorusi” analizuje rolę mediów w kontekście autorytarnego reżimu na Białorusi. Badanie koncentruje się na tym, jak władza centralna kontroluje media i jakie naruszenia wolności prasy i słowa mają miejsce w tym Państwie. Praca opisuje także rolę środków masowego przekazu jako narzędzia propagandy, kontroli społeczeństwa i promowania ideologii przez rządzący system. W ramach badań jest przedstawiona analiza reżimu autorytarnego i jego charakterystyki, propagandy, ustawodawstwa Białorusi i jej systemu, jak i prawa dotyczącego mediów, wskazując na liczne przypadki represji wobec mediów i dziennikarzy oraz roli mediów w kontekście wyborów prezydenckich w 2020 roku i protestów które na nie zareagowały. W rezultacie, praca wskazuje, że media na Białorusi są pod silna kontrolą władzy i że naruszania wolności obywatelskich są powszechne. Jednakże pomimo tych trudności, media pozostają istotnym narzędziem opozycji i społeczeństwa obywatelskiego w dążeniu do demokratycznych zmian w państwie.
