Relacje wczesnego państwa Joseon z sąsiadami: próba zdefiniowania koncepcji gyorin

Tematem pracy są utożsamiane z konfucjańską koncepcją gyorin relacje wczesnego państwa Joseon z państwami sąsiedzkimi – Japonią, Dżurdżenami i Riukiu. W pracy podjęto próbę określenia podstaw ideologicznych koncepcji i opisano okoliczności zacieśnienia stosunków dworu koreańskiego z sąsiadami na przełomie XIV i XV wieku. Opisano aspekt militarny relacji zagranicznych Joseon na przykładzie ataku na Tsushimę z 1419 roku, a także strukturę koreańskiego systemu trybutarnego. Przedstawiono również relacje koreańsko-dżurdżeńsko-chińskie w XV wieku, wysyłanie przez państwo Joseon na dwór Japonii i Riukiu tekstów buddyjskich oraz wydanie kompilacji Haedong jegukgi. Opisane aspekty relacji zagranicznych Joseon w pierwszym stuleciu istnienia państwa zestawiono z teoretyzowanymi podstawami ideologicznymi koncepcji gyorin w celu jej zdefiniowania.

This paper covers the relations of the early Joseon state with its neighbouring countries - Japan, the Jurgen and Ryukyu, understood as the Confucian gyorin concept. The author attempts to define the ideological basis of the concept and the background of the streightening of the relations between the Korean court and its neighbours at the turn of 14th and 15th centuries. The military aspect of Joseon’s foreign relations is described based on the example of the attack on Tsushima in 1419, as well as the structure of the Korean tribute system. The paper also covers the Korean-Jurgen-Chinese relations in 15th century, the sending of Buddhist texts to the Japanese and Ryukyu courts by the Joseon state, and the publication of the Haedong jegukgi compilation. In order to define gyorin, the mentioned aspects of Joseon’s foreign relations in the first hundred years are compared with the theorized ideological basis of the concept.
