Podstawy projektowania typografii na potrzeby Internetu

dc.abstract.enInternet typography is a key element in web design. Recent years have seen a significant increase in interest in principles for creating readable and aesthetically pleasing text in digital environments, particularly in the context of usability and accessibility. The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of web typography principles on the readability and user comfort of digital content. The research focused on selected Polish news websites—Gazeta.pl, Onet.pl, Polityka.pl, and Wyborcza.pl—and empirically examined how these platforms adhere to typography design principles to ensure optimal readability for users. The study analyzed key typographic aspects, including font size and type, line spacing, line width, contrast between text and background, header hierarchy, and website responsiveness across various devices. The findings showed that Polityka.pl achieved the highest scores in terms of compliance with typography principles, offering users the highest comfort in content consumption. On the other hand, Onet.pl received the lowest scores, suggesting potential issues with readability and navigation. The study confirmed the hypothesis that adhering to web typography design principles significantly influences the readability and user comfort of digital content.
dc.abstract.plTypografia internetowa jest kluczowym elementem projektowania stron internetowych. Ostatnie lata przyniosły znaczący wzrost zainteresowania zasadami tworzenia czytelnego i estetycznego tekstu w środowisku cyfrowym, szczególnie w kontekście użyteczności i dostępności. Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza wpływu zasad typografii internetowej na czytelność i komfort użytkowania treści cyfrowych. Przeprowadzone badanie wybranych polskich serwisów informacyjnych - Gazeta.pl, Onet.pl, Polityka.pl i Wyborcza.pl miało na celu empiryczne sprawdzenie w jaki sposób serwisy przestrzegają zasady projektowania typografii i zapewniają użytkownikom optymalną czytelność. Badanie obejmowało analizę kluczowych aspektów typograficznych takich jak rozmiar i rodzaj czcionki, interlinie, szerokość wierszy, kontrast między tekstem, a tłem, hierarchia nagłówków oraz responsywność stron na różnych urządzeniach. Przeprowadzone badanie wykazało, że Polityka.pl osiągnęła najlepsze wyniki pod względem zgodności z zasadami typografii i zapewnia użytkownikom najwyższy komfort w odbiorze treści. Najgorsze wyniki uzyskał serwis Onet.pl, co wskazuje na potencjalne problemy w zakresie czytelności i nawigacji. Badania pozwoliły na weryfikację hipotezy, iż przestrzeganie zasad projektowania typografii dla Internetu wpływa na czytelność i komfort użytkowania treści cyfrowych.
