dc.abstract.enBachelor's thesis entitled ''I personaggi nel Corbaccio di Giovanni Boccaccio'' regards the last book of Boccaccio, which is a strong invective against women. The thesis is divided in three chapters. The first chapter presents shortly the plot of the book, possible motives for writing it, and theories regarding its title. The second is dedicated to the analysis of the image of women, with a thorough examinations of their character, appearance, and nature. The third chapter focuses on the male characters present in the work, that will be subjected to a similar analysis. The aim of the thesis is to show the ways in which misogyny is revealed in the characters of the work based on their analysis, and the language used in the book.

dc.abstract.otherLa tesi ''I personaggi nel Corbaccio di Giovanni Boccaccio'' si concentra sull’ultima opera di Boccaccio, che è una forte invettiva contro le donne. La tesi è articolata in tre capitoli. Nel primo verranno presentati brevemente la trama del libro, i possibili motivi che hanno spinto Boccaccio a scriverlo e le teorie riguardanti il titolo. Il secondo sarà dedicato all’analisi dell’immagine della donna, con un esame approfondito del suo carattere, aspetto e natura. Il terzo capitolo si concentrerà sui personaggi maschili presenti nel libretto, che saranno sottoposti a un’analoga analisi. L’obiettivo della tesi è mostrare i modi in cui la misoginia si manifesta nei personaggi dell’opera, basandosi sui caratteriali descritti e il linguaggio utilizzato.
dc.abstract.plPraca licencjacka pt. „I personaggi nel Corbaccio di Giovanniego Boccaccio” skupia się na ostatnim utworze Boccaccia, który jest ostrą inwektywą przeciwko kobietom. Tekst jest podzielony na trzy rozdziały. W pierwszym rozdziale zostaną krótko przedstawione fabuła książki, możliwe motywy, które skłoniły Boccaccia do jej napisania, oraz teorie dotyczące tytułu. Drugi będzie poświęcony analizie wizerunku kobiety, z dokładnym badaniem jej charakteru, wyglądu oraz natury. Trzeci rozdział skupi się na postaciach męskich obecnych w utworze, które zostaną poddane podobnej analizie. Celem pracy jest ukazanie na jakie sposoby mizoginia objawia się w postaciach dzieła na podstawie ich analizy oraz języka utworu.
