dc.abstract.enThis master's thesis aims to analyze the life and work of the artist, composer and conductor – Max Bruch – based on written materials in the form of letters, biographical texts and fragments of memoirs. The study consists of four key parts: a theoretical introduction, an analytical chapter, a summary and a list of literature. The theoretical chapter of the study presents the introduction, the aim of the work and the methodological workshop, as well as the state of research. The methodology introduces such scientific concepts as 'opera', 'oratorio', 'violin concerto', 'correspondence', 'memoir', 'orchestral suite', 'music in literature' and 'folk music'. The next chapter of the study is devoted to the characteristics of the Romantic era and to showing its influence on artists who lived and composed at that time. In the next part, the stages of Max Bruch's life were analyzed. The summary contains conclusions from the conducted analysis.

dc.abstract.otherDie vorliegende Diplomarbeit hat zum Ziel, das Leben und Schaffen des Künstlers, Komponisten und Dirigenten – Max Bruch – in Anlehnung an schriftliche Materialien, wie: Briefe, biographische Texte und Fragmente der Erinnerungen einer eingehenden Analyse zu unterziehen. Das Studium umfasst vier Hauptteile: theoretischen Teil, ein Kapitel mit der durchgeführten Analyse, eine Zusammenfassung und ein Literaturverzeichnis. Im theoretischen Teil wurden die Einleitung, Zielsetzung der Arbeit, Methodologie und auch der Forschungsstand präsentiert. Die Methodologie schildert wissenschaftliche Begriffe, wie: ,Oper‘, ,Oratorium‘, ,Violinkonzert‘, ,Briefwechsel‘, ,Erinnerung‘, ,Orchestersuite‘, ,Musik in der Literatur‘ und ,Volkslied‘. Das weitere Kapitel der Studie wurde einer Charakteristik der romantischen Epoche gewidmet. In dem Abschnitt wurden auch die Auswirkungen der Romantik auf die Künslter dargestellt, die zu jener Zeit gelebt und komponiert haben. Im weiteren Teil wurden die Lebensstationen von Max Bruch erforscht. Der Teil Zusammenfassung enthält die Schlussfolgerungen aus der durchgeführten Untersuchung.
dc.abstract.plNiniejsza praca magisterska ma na celu analizę życia i twórczości artysty, kompozytora i dyrygenta – Maxa Brucha – w oparciu o materiały pisemne w postaci listów, tekstów biograficznych oraz fragmentów wspomnień. Studium obejmuje cztery kluczowe części: wstęp teoretyczny, rozdział analityczny, podsumowanie oraz spis literatury. W teoretycznym rozdziale studium został zaprezentowany wstęp i cel pracy oraz warsztat metodologiczny, a także stan badań. Metodologia przybliża takie pojęcia naukowe, jak ,opera‛, ,oratorium‛, ,koncert skrzypcowy‛, ,korespondencja‛, ,wspomnienie‛, ,suita orkiestrowa‛, ,muzyka w literaturze‛, czy ,muzyka ludowa‛. Kolejny rozdział studium został poświęcony charakterystyce epoki romantyzmu i ukazaniu jej wpływu na artystów, którzy żyli i komponowali w owych czasach. W dalszym etapie zostały poddane analizie etapy życia Maxa Brucha. Podsumowanie zawiera wnioski z przeprowadzonej analizy.
