De la prédication par verbe support en ancien égyptien à l’exemple du verbe “iri”

dc.abstract.enThe language of the ancient Egyptians is traditionally commented on through a descriptive apparatus inherited from the first half of the 20th century, that is to say before the development of linguistics. Thus, predication is explained according to verbal, nominal, adjectival, adverbial sentences and so-called pseudo-verbal structures. However, reading the texts from ancient times shows that other ways of predication existed, in particular Support Verb Constructions associated with predicative nouns. A study of the texts of the pyramids, but also of the tomb scenes and other materials demonstrate this existence and plead in favor of a new, more modern method of describing the phenomena.

dc.abstract.otherLa langue des anciens Egyptiens est traditionnellement commentée à travers un appareil descriptif hérité de la première moitié du 20e siècle, c’est-à-dire d’avant le développement de la linguistique. Ainsi la prédication y est-elle expliquée en fonction de phrases verbales, nominales, adjectivales, adverbiales et de structures dites pseudo-verbales. Pour autant, la lecture des textes, dès la plus haute antiquité montre que d’autres moyens de prédications existaient, en particuliers les verbes supports associés à des noms prédicatifs. Une étude des textes des pyramides, mais aussi des scènes des tombeaux et d’autres supports démontrent cette existence et plaident en faveur d’une nouvelle méthode, plus moderne, de description des phénomènes.
dc.abstract.plTradycyjnie opisanie języka starożytnych Egipcjan odbywa się za pomocą aparatu opisowego odziedziczonego z pierwszej połowy XX wieku, a więc sprzed najnowszego rozwoju językoznawstwa. W ten sposób predykacja zdań wyjaśniana jest za pomocą zdań werbalnych, nominalnych, przymiotnikowych, przysłówkowych i tzw. struktur pseudowerbalnych. Jednak lektura tekstów z czasów starożytnych pokazuje, że istniały inne sposoby budowy zdań, w szczególności czasowniki podporowe związane z rzeczownikami predykatywnymi. Analiza tekstów piramid, ale także scen pochodzących z grobowców i innych nośników pisma dowodzi istnienia takich sposobów predykacji zdaniowej i przemawia za nową, bardziej nowoczesną metodą opisu zjawisk.
