Czynnik religijny w polityce zagranicznej Królestwa Arabii Saudyjskiej w latach 2015-2023
Źródła wykorzystane w pracy obejmują wypowiedzi polityków, monografie, artykuły naukowe i źródła prasowe.

The aim of this study is to determine the influence of the religious factor on Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy in the years 2015 - 2023 and the functions which it serves. In order to identify the religious factor the study employs the conceptual framework regarding the role of religion in the state’s foreign policy devised by Carolyn Warner and Stephen Walker and the concept of religious soft power. For the purpose of structuring the analysis of Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy the study utilised a modified concept of „geopolitical circles”, based on the principles adopted in 2005 by the saudi ministry of foreign affairs, distinguishing the Gulf circle, the Arab circle, the Muslim circle and the international circle. The study uses historical descriptive, explanatory and empirical methods in the form of an analysis of press interviews and clerics' statements. The sources used in the study include politicians’ statements, monographs, scientific articles and press sources. The conducted research indicated that the religious factor was instrumentalised by Saudi Arabia in the studied period, employing its legitimising and mobilising function with the aim of achieving its foreign policy goals
