dc.abstract.en	This thesis focuses on the phenomenon of dual diagnosis, understood as the co-occurrence of substance use disorders among individuals with disabilities, particularly the intersection of addiction with mental disorders as well as with acquired, intellectual, and neurodevelopmental disabilities. The aim of this study is to examine this phenomenon and to assess the effectiveness of the Swedish government agency Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS). The study employs the institutional monograph method, using document analysis as the primary research technique. The analyzed materials include legal acts, legislation, annual reports, external SiS documents, and statistical data. The findings indicate that SiS, and in particular its specialized units (SFA), including the SiS LVM-hem Lunden facility, partially meets the needs of the studied group. However, the system faces several structural limitations, such as the insufficient duration of treatment, an inadequate level of staff specialization, and insufficient coordination of post-discharge care, including the lack of continuity in treatment. The thesis formulates recommendations and proposals for systemic reforms in the field of care for individuals with dual diagnosis, and highlights the need to expand the availability of such facilities within the Polish addiction treatment system.
dc.abstract.pl	Praca koncentruje się na zjawisku podwójnej diagnozy (ang. dual diagnosis), rozumianym jako współwystępowanie uzależnienia wśród osób z niepełnosprawnością, w szczególności łączenie się uzależnień z zaburzeniami psychicznymi oraz z niepełnosprawnością nabytą, intelektualną i neurorozwojową. Celem pracy jest rozpoznanie tego zjawiska oraz ocena skuteczności działania szwedzkiej instytucji państwowej Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS). W pracy zastosowano metodę monografii instytucji, wykorzystując technikę analizy dokumentów. Obejmowała ona akty prawne, ustawy, sprawozdania roczne, dokumenty zewnętrzne SiS, a także dane statystyczne. Wyniki badań wskazują, że SiS, a w szczególności specjalistyczne oddziały (SFA), w tym placówka SiS LVM-hem Lunden, częściowo odpowiadają na potrzeby badanej grupy. System ten napotyka jednak liczne ograniczenia strukturalne, takie jak zbyt krótki czas leczenia, niewystarczający poziom specjalizacji kadry oraz niedostateczna koordynacja działań po opuszczeniu placówki, w tym brak ciągłości terapii. Praca formułuje rekomendacje oraz postulaty dotyczące reform systemowych w obszarze opieki nad osobami z podwójną diagnozą, a także wskazuje na potrzebę upowszechnienia tego typu placówek w polskim systemie leczenia uzależnień.
