Wymiar przestrzenny zniszczeń i odbudowy Drezna i Warszawy po II wojnie światowej – porównanie

dc.abstract.en	This bachelor's thesis concerns the comparison of the destruction and reconstruction of Dresden and Warsaw after World War II. In the first main chapter, the author touched upon the topic of war damage in Dresden and the process of rebuilding the city. The influence of the state authorities on the nature of the reconstruction of the ruined city and attempts to determine the type of buildings that would be built on the ashes were taken into account. The reconstruction of Frauenkirche and Neumarkt was highlighted. The second chapter focused on describing the war damage, the time of its occurrence and the processes of rebuilding Warsaw. It was presented which parts of the city were the first to be reconstructed in their former form and which were changed. A new investment was identified, Trasa W–Z, which would not have been possible if it had not been for the destruction. While writing the work, the author was using traditional and Internet sources. The work concerns only the areas of the cities of Dresden and Warsaw. The time scope of the work covers the events of the September Campaign, the bombing of Dresden on February 13–14th and the pre-war condition of the buildings up to modern times.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca licencjacka dotyczy porównania zniszczeń i odbudowy Drezna i Warszawy po II wojnie światowej. W pierwszym zasadniczym rozdziale autor poruszył temat zniszczeń wojennych w Dreźnie i proces odbudowy miasta. Uwzględniono wpływ władz państwa na charakter rekonstrukcji zrujnowanego miasta oraz próby wyznaczenia rodzaju zabudowy, jaki powstanie na zgliszczach. Wyróżniono odbudowanie Frauenkirche i Neumarkt. W drugim rozdziale skupiono się na opisaniu zniszczeń wojennych, czasu ich wystąpienia i procesach odbudowy Warszawy. Przedstawiono, które części miasta były zrekonstruowane jako pierwsze w ich dawnej formie, a które zostały zmienione. Wskazano nową inwestycję, Trasę W–Z, której nie dałoby się zrealizować, gdyby nie zniszczenia. Podczas pisania pracy autor korzystał ze źródeł tradycyjnych i internetowych. Praca dotyczy wyłącznie obszarów miast Drezna i Warszawy. Zakres czasowy pracy obejmuje wydarzenia kampanii wrześniowej, zbombardowania Drezna w dniach 13–14 lutego i przedwojenny stan budynków, aż po czasy współczesne.
