Zachowania informacyjne młodych kobiet w kontekście procesu planowania podróży.

This undergraduate thesis focuses on the information behavior of young women in the context of the travel planning process. The purpose of the study was to understand how young women search for and evaluate information, as well as what sources of information they use to do so. It also focused on analyzing how the subjects make travel decisions and identifying the factors that influence these decisions. The main research question was: What is the process of searching for information gathered to make the final travel decision by young women? In order to further explore the topic, three auxiliary questions were formulated to clarify the scope of the study and fulfill the stated purpose. The research method chosen for the study was a semi-structured interview, conducted in an online environment. Such a choice made it possible to obtain authentic statements from female respondents and provided easy access to respondents. The research sample consisted of young women between the ages of 18 and 25, whose interest is self-organized travel. The survey discovered that the most important and frequently used source of information by female respondents was the internet: search engines, travel sites and online maps. Recommendations from friends and family were also an important source of information. The study noted that young women use a wide range of information sources, both digital and traditional. Among the key information that respondents paid particular attention to were prices, transportation and accommodation. The respondents also indicated that they preferred to travel economically, and price was one of the most important factors influencing their decisions. The respondents described themselves as flexible, open to change and ready to adjust their plans and decisions. Through analysis of the interviews, the moment when the final decision to travel is made was also determined - this is the moment when the choice of destination is made, and accommodation and transportation are booked. The expected result of the study was a deeper understanding of the travel planning process, which enabled a better understanding of the information behavior of young women who make their own travel arrangements. The stated research objectives were fully met.
Metodą badawczą, wybraną do przeprowadzenia badania został wywiad półustrukturyzowany, przeprowadzony w środowisku online.
