Hejt w mediach społecznościowych a zdrowie psychiczne jego adresatów

dc.abstract.en	Communication through social media is associated with the occurrence of negative behaviors in the media space, having the characteristics of acts of aggression – called hate. The characteristic structure of social media and the specificity of the algorithms on which they are built, means that the scale of the phenomenon is growing with the progress of technology. The appearance of hate on the network is conditioned by many factors, both social and psychological, in which the literature on the subject and sources of scientific knowledge are helpful in knowing and understanding. The phenomenon of online hate is a complex process, both at the level of its causes and the consequences it entails. The effects of exposure to hate present in social media pose a real threat to the health of the individual affected by it. Various forms of disorders caused by hate are becoming an increasingly common problem that affects both public figures who take an active part in media life, but also those who have little to do with the media. Promoting social awareness of hate and taking action to mitigate its effects is, for many, a chance to effectively deal with the problem.
dc.abstract.pl	Komunikacja za pośrednictwem mediów społecznościowych jest związana z występowaniem w przestrzeni medialnej zachowań o charakterze negatywnym, posiadających znamiona aktów agresji – nazywanych hejtem. Charakterystyczna struktura mediów społecznościowych oraz specyfika algorytmów na których są zbudowane, sprawia, że wraz z postępem technologii skala zjawiska rośnie. Pojawianie się hejtu w sieci, uwarunkowane jest wieloma czynnikami zarówno społecznymi, jak i psychologicznymi, w których poznaniu i zrozumieniu pomocna staje się literatura przedmiotu i źródła wiedzy naukowej. Zjawisko internetowego hejtu, jest procesem złożonym, zarówno na poziomie przyczyn jego powstawania, jak i konsekwencji, jakie za sobą pociąga. Skutki ekspozycji na hejt obecny w mediach społecznościowych, stanowią realne zagrożenie dla zdrowia jednostki nim dotkniętej. Różne formy zaburzeń wywoływanych przez hejt, stają się coraz powszechniejszym problemem, który dotyka zarówno osoby publiczne, biorące czynny udział w życiu medialnym, ale również te, które z mediami mają niewiele wspólnego. Propagowanie społecznej świadomości na temat hejtu oraz podejmowanie działań mających na celu złagodzenie jego skutków, jest dla wielu szansą na skuteczne poradzenie sobie z problemem.
