Analiza i uproszczenie regulaminów usług streamingowych: Studium przypadku Netflixa i HBO Max

dc.abstract.en	In my thesis, I analyse the use of plain language in functional texts, using the example of the terms and conditions of the Netflix and HBO Max streaming platforms. My goal is to assess the extent to which simplifying language affects the comprehensibility of content and its reception by users. In the theoretical part, I discuss the development of the idea of plain language – both internationally and in Poland. In the analytical part, I describe the results of a communication audit of both terms and conditions, which I conducted, taking into account the pragmatic aspect, the layout and composition of the text, and the lexical and syntactic layers. At the same time, I present simplified versions of the content. I then subjected selected fragments to automatic linguistic analysis in the Logios Redaktor tool, which I also discuss in my thesis. I also conducted a survey with users. I presented its results, which clearly indicate that the original versions of the regulations are difficult to understand, while their simplified versions were assessed as much more comprehensible, user-friendly and better suited to the user's needs.
dc.abstract.pl	W pracy analizuję zastosowanie prostego języka w tekstach użytkowych na przykładzie regulaminów platform streamingowych Netflixa i HBO Max. Moim celem jest ocena, w jakim stopniu uproszczenie języka wpływa na zrozumiałość treści oraz jej odbiór przez użytkowników. W części teoretycznej omawiam przegląd rozwoju idei prostego języka – w ujęciu międzynarodowym i na gruncie polskim. W części analitycznej opisuję wyniki audytu komunikacyjnego obu regulaminów, który przeprowadziłam, uwzględniając aspekt pragmatyczny, układ i kompozycję tekstu, warstwę leksykalną i składniową. Jednocześnie przedstawiam uproszczone wersje treści. Następnie wybrane fragmenty poddałam automatycznej analizie językowej w narzędziu Logios Redaktor, co także omówiłam w pracy. Przeprowadziłam również badanie ankietowe z udziałem użytkowników. Przedstawiłam jego wyniki, które jednoznacznie wskazują, że oryginalne wersje regulaminów są trudne w odbiorze, podczas gdy ich uproszczone wersje oceniono jako znacznie bardziej zrozumiałe, przyjazne i lepiej dopasowane do potrzeb użytkownika.
