Picturebook – artystyczna książka obrazowa w perspektywie pedagogicznej

dc.abstract.en	This master's thesis aims to describe and disseminate knowledge of the phenomenon of the picturebook in Poland, especially in the pedagogical environment. The text emphasizes the importance of the picturebook as an educational and upbringing tool, in which words and images have equal value and participate in creating the reader's interpretation. The thesis attempts to define the picture book and discusses important theoretical aspects concerning this book genre. Selected works by Polish authors (including I. Chmielewska, U. Palusińska, M. Bieńczyk) with various styles and themes were subjected to literary and semiotic analysis. Particular attention was paid to the relations between the image and the text in these works and the possible interpretations resulting from them. The results of the analysis show the great value of picture books for the upbringing and education of children and adults. They can become an important tool, especially in shaping aesthetic sensitivity and when addressing difficult or taboo topics.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca magisterska ma na celu opis i rozpowszechnianie znajomości zjawiska, jakim jest książka obrazowa (picturebook), w Polsce, w szczególności w środowisku pedagogicznym. Tekst podkreśla znaczenie książki obrazowej jako narzędzia edukacyjnego i wychowawczego, w którym słowa i obrazy mają równorzędną wartość i udział w tworzeniu interpretacji przez czytelnika. W pracy podjęto próbę zdefiniowania książki obrazowej oraz opracowano istotne aspekty teoretyczne dotyczące tego gatunku książki. Analizie literackiej i semiotycznej zostały poddane wybrane dzieła polskich autorów (m.in. I. Chmielewska, U. Palusińska, M. Bieńczyk) o różnorodnej stylistyce i tematyce. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono relacjom między obrazem i tekstem w tych dziełach oraz wynikającym z nich możliwym interpretacjom. Wyniki analizy pokazują dużą wartość książek obrazowych dla wychowania i edukacji dzieci i dorosłych. Mogą stać się one istotnym narzędziem zwłaszcza w kształtowaniu wrażliwości estetycznej oraz przy podejmowaniu tematów trudnych lub tabu.
