Analyzing the impact of Time Management on Employee Satisfaction and Motivation in the IT Industry
| dc.abstract.en | The IT industry demands a high level of focus and efficiency from its employees due to the rapidly changing technology landscape and complex project structures. Employees strive to maintain a sense of autonomy and control in the face of recurring deadlines, long work hours, and multi-tasking, which directly impacts their overall perception and attitude toward their jobs. How time resources are managed is closely related to an individual's stress levels, work engagement, and emotional response to the organization. The ability to effectively perform tasks within a certain amount of time goes beyond just improving productivity; it also affects an individual's self-efficacy and job satisfaction. At the organizational level, having clear standards and support for time management can improve collaborative effectiveness and mutual trust among employees. Conversely, poor time management can lead to workload overload, role ambiguity, and organizational conflict, which in turn can lead to lower employee motivation and increased turnover intentions. Therefore, time is not just a resource to be scheduled, but is deeply connected to the psychological and social dynamics of an organization. In particular, advances in digital technology and the proliferation of remote work are changing the way time is perceived and utilized, requiring a rethinking of traditional organizational culture and leadership styles. As a result of these changes, time management issues are becoming more complex and intertwined with the structure, culture, and leadership strategy of the organization, rather than simply a matter of individual capabilities. |
