Teatr Stanisława Wyspiańskiego w świetle „Studium o Hamlecie”

dc.abstract.en	The thesis is devoted to the theatrical thought of Stanisław Wyspiański. Its aim is to show the significance of „Studium o Hamlecie for the development of a new way of thinking about theatre in Poland. It is assumed that Wyspiański’s interpretation of William Shakespeare’s „Hamlet” becomes a starting point for his reflections on the organization of theatrical performance and for the formulation of his own concept of the theatre of staging. The first part of the thesis discusses the Great Theatre Reform in Europe and the changes it brought to the understanding of the stage. The next part presents the situation of Polish theatre at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as Wyspiański’s role in shaping the theatre of staging. The final part is devoted to the analysis of „Studium o Hamlecie” as a text in which Wyspiański presents practical elements of the projected staging, with particular emphasis on the functions of the actor, the director, scenography and stage space. The thesis employs the methods of literary-historical and interpretative analysis. The primary source is Stanisław Wyspiański’s „Studium o Hamlecie”, supplemented by selected dramatic works of the author, which are referred to as a context for his thinking about theatre. The thesis also draws on studies concerning the Great Theatre Reform, the theatre of staging and Wyspiański’s theatrical work. The analysis confirms the assumption adopted in the thesis.
dc.abstract.pl	Praca poświęcona jest myśli teatralnej Stanisława Wyspiańskiego. Jej celem jest ukazanie znaczenia „Studium o Hamlecie” dla nowego sposobu myślenia o teatrze w Polsce. Przyjęto założenie, że interpretacja dramatu „Hamleta” Williama Szekspira staje się dla autora punktem wyjścia do rozważań nad organizacją widowiska teatralnego oraz do sformułowania własnej koncepcji teatru inscenizacji. W pierwszej części pracy omówiono Wielką Reformę Teatru w Europie oraz związane z nią przemiany w rozumieniu sceny. Następnie przedstawiono sytuację teatru polskiego na przełomie XIX i XX wieku oraz miejsce Wyspiańskiego w kształtowaniu teatru inscenizacji. Ostatnia część pracy została poświęcona analizie „Studium o Hamlecie” jako tekstu, w którym Wyspiański przedstawia praktyczne elementy projektowanej inscenizacji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem funkcji aktora, reżysera, scenografii i przestrzeni scenicznej. W pracy zastosowano metodę analizy historycznoliterackiej i interpretacyjnej. Podstawę badań stanowi „Studium o Hamlecie” Stanisława Wyspiańskiego, a także wybrane teksty dramatyczne autora, przywołane jako kontekst dla jego myślenia o teatrze. Wykorzystano również opracowania dotyczące Wielkiej Reformy Teatru, teatru inscenizacji oraz twórczości teatralnej Wyspiańskiego. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwala potwierdzić przyjęte w pracy założenie.
