Głos kobiet na pograniczu: narracje kobiece w literaturze migracyjnej Włoch i świata hiszpańskojęzycznego na podstawie powieści Igiaby Scego i Liny Meruane

dc.abstract.en	This thesis presents a comparative analysis of women’s borderland narratives in the works of Igiaba Scego and Lina Meruane. The study focuses on the novel Adua and the short story Salsicce by the Italian writer of Somali origin, alongside Volverse Palestina by the Chilean-Palestinian author. Drawing on postcolonial and migration studies, the thesis explores how literature becomes a space for articulating subaltern voices and marginalized experiences. The analysis addresses key issues such as violence against women and its different forms, historical memory and intergenerational trauma, crisis and hybridity of identity, as well as attempts to negotiate cultural belonging. Special attention is devoted to the protagonists’ bodies, which function as sites of oppression, exoticization, or dehumanization, but also as loci of resistance and the reclaiming of subjectivity. By comparing two cultural and linguistic contexts – Italian and Spanish-speaking, respectively – the study reveals both the universal mechanisms of violence and exclusion and the local specificity of experiences. The thesis emphasizes that migratory and postcolonial literature not only reflects socio-political realities but also serves as a tool of memory, education, and critique of contemporary power structures.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca stanowi komparatystyczną analizę narracji kobiecych z pogranicza w twórczości Igaby Scego i Liny Meruane. Przedmiotem badań sa powieści “Adua” włoskiej pisarki somalijskiego pochodzenia oraz “Volverse Palestina” chillijsko-palestyńskiej autorki. Punktem wyjścia jest perspektywa postkolonialna i migracyjna, która umożliwia ukazanie, w jaki sposób literaturta staje się przestrzenią ujawniania głosów subaltern i doświadczeń marginalizowanych. Analiza koncentruje się na takich zagadnieniach jak: przemoc i jej oblicza wobec kobiet, pamięć historyczna i trauma pokoleniowa, kryzys i hybrydyczność tożsamości, a także próby negocjowania przynależności kulturowej. Szczególna uwaga poświęcona jest cielesności bohaterek, które stają się nośnikami opresji, egzotyzacji lub dehumanizacji, a jednocześnie przestrzenią buntu i odzyskiwania podmiotowości. Porównanie dwóch obszarów kulturowych – włoskiego i hiszpańskojęzycznego – pozwala dostrzec uniwersalność mechanizmów przemocy i wykluczenia, a zarazem lokalną specyfikę doświadczeń. Praca podkreśla, że literatura migracyjna i postkolonialna nie tylko odzwierciedla rzeczywistość społeczno-polityczną, lecz także potrafi ją krytykować będąc nośnikiem pamięci, czy to historycznej, czy indywidualnej.
