Oddziaływanie nowoczesnych technologii na rozwój dziecka w wieku szkolnym.

dc.abstract.en	The aim of this thesis was to examine the impact of modern technologies on the development of school-age children (11–12 years old) in the areas of cognitive, emotional, and social functioning. The theoretical part presents the characteristics of child development during middle childhood and discusses the role of modern technologies, digital media, and social media in children's everyday lives. Both the benefits of technology use in education and communication, as well as the risks associated with excessive screen exposure, including its effects on attention, emotional regulation, social relationships, and exposure to blue light, are discussed. The empirical part of the study investigated the ways in which 11–12-year-old students use modern technologies and the relationship between technology use and their cognitive, emotional, and social functioning. The analysis focused on the frequency and duration of technology use, the purposes for which digital devices are used, and children's reactions to restrictions on access to technology. The findings obtained in the study suggest that the use of modern technologies is strongly embedded in the daily activities of school-age children and may influence several areas of their functioning. The study emphasizes the importance of conscious and balanced technology use and highlights the role of parents and teachers in developing children's digital competencies.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem pracy było poznanie oddziaływania nowoczesnych technologii na rozwój dzieci w wieku szkolnym (11–12 lat) w obszarze funkcjonowania poznawczego, emocjonalnego i społecznego. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono charakterystykę rozwoju dzieci w średnim wieku szkolnym oraz rolę nowoczesnych technologii, mediów cyfrowych i mediów społecznościowych w ich codziennym życiu. Omówiono zarówno korzyści wynikające z wykorzystania technologii w edukacji i komunikacji, jak i zagrożenia związane z nadmiernym korzystaniem z urządzeń ekranowych, w tym wpływ na koncentrację uwagi, regulację emocji, relacje społeczne oraz ekspozycję na niebieskie światło. W części empirycznej przeprowadzono badania dotyczące sposobu korzystania z nowoczesnych technologii przez uczniów w wieku 11–12 lat oraz ich związku z funkcjonowaniem poznawczym, emocjonalnym i społecznym. Analizie poddano częstotliwość i czas korzystania z technologii, cele ich użytkowania oraz reakcje dzieci na ograniczenie dostępu do urządzeń cyfrowych. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują, że nowoczesne technologie stanowią istotny element życia dzieci w wieku szkolnym, wpływając zarówno na procesy poznawcze, jak i na funkcjonowanie emocjonalne oraz społeczne. Podkreślono znaczenie świadomego i zrównoważonego korzystania z technologii oraz rolę rodziców i nauczycieli w kształtowaniu kompetencji cyfrowych dzieci.
