dc.abstract.enThe aim of this thesis is to conduct an architectural analysis of the Crystal Palace, focusing on its form, structure, and materials, within the context of mid-19th century British architecture. The paper examines how the Crystal Palace became one of the most significant architectural icons of the 19th century and explores the reasons behind this status. Additionally, the thesis seeks to answer whether, and to what extent, the Palace influenced the architecture of its time.

W pracy zbadane zostanie jak tytułowy Kryształowy Pałac stał się jedną z najważniejszych ikon architektury XIX wieku i dlaczego. Praca podejmuje próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy i w jakim stopniu Pałac wpłynął na architekturę tamtego okresu.
