Rola montażu w budowaniu struktury narracyjnej w filmie dokumentalnym

dc.abstract.en	The master's thesis analyzes the role of editing in constructing the narrative structure of a documentary film. The aim of the study was to understand how editing decisions influence the shape of the narrative and what is the relationship between editing and the screenplay. The first two chapters are theoretical in nature and address issues related to the screenplay and editing in documentary filmmaking. The section dedicated to the screenplay discusses the typology of documentary genres, narrative structure, and the specific nature of working on a script for this type of production. The section focused on editing explores topics such as editing techniques used in documentaries, the differences between editing in documentary and fiction films, the process of constructing narrative during post-production, and the role of editing as a tool for interpreting reality. The last two chapters are devoted to the analysis of research results. The first concerns interviews with professionals involved in documentary filmmaking, while the second focuses on comparing the screenplay with its final film version. In both cases, the applied methodology, the course of the research, and the conclusions drawn from it are presented.
dc.abstract.pl	W pracy magisterskiej przeanalizowano rolę montażu w budowaniu struktury narracyjnej w filmie dokumentalnym. Celem pracy było zrozumienie, w jaki sposób decyzje montażowe wpływają na kształt narracji oraz jaka jest relacja między montażem a scenariuszem. Pierwsze dwa rozdziały mają charakter teoretyczny i dotyczą zagadnień związanych ze scenariuszem oraz montażem w filmie dokumentalnym. W części poświęconej scenariuszowi omówiona została typologia gatunków dokumentalnych, struktura narracyjna oraz specyfika pracy nad scenariuszem tego typu produkcji. W części poświęconej montażowi poruszone zostały takie kwestie, jak techniki montażowe stosowane w filmach dokumentalnych, odmienność montażu w filmach dokumentalnych i fabularnych, proces konstruowania narracji na etapie postprodukcji, a także rola montażu jako narzędzia interpretacji rzeczywistości. Ostatnie dwa rozdziały poświęcone są analizie wyników przeprowadzonych badań. Pierwsze z nich obejmuje wywiady ze specjalistami zajmującymi się filmem dokumentalnym, natomiast drugie dotyczy porównania scenariusza z jego finalną realizacją filmową. W obu przypadkach zaprezentowano zastosowaną metodologię, przebieg badania oraz sformułowane na tej podstawie wnioski.
