Wątki mesjanistyczne w afroamerykańskiej kulturze hip-hop pokolenia twórców post-blackness na przykładzie wybranej twórczości Kendricka Lamara

dc.abstract.en	The thesis explores messianic themes in Kendrick Lamar’s work, focusing on the role of hip-hop in shaping of African-American identity and social consciousness. Analysis of the albums To Pimp a Butterfly, DAMN and Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers showcases the evolution of the artist as a contemporary prophet who struggles with personal and societal challenges. The thesis presents the way that messianism, in the context of the category of post-blackness and hip-hop culture, fuels a dynamic dialogue about the identity and social responsibility of African Americans.
