Gdzieś w tym plusie. Niebinarne i nienormatywne tożsamości osób LGBT+ w świetle queerowej teorii płci

dc.abstract.en	In my work, I analyze the non-normative of LGBT+ people, with particular emphasis on gender non-binarity. The aim was to examine the extent to which queer gender theory applies to the experiences of non-normative LGBT+ people in Poland. I outline the historical context of the emergence of the contemporary paradigm of gender difference in the West and the chronology of events shaping the contemporary identities of LGBT+ people in Poland, and I also discuss selected themes from the Queer Gender Theory. Drawing on publications by Judith Butler, Maria Dębińska, and Paul B. Preciado, I look for possible sources of apparent contradictions in gender and sexually non-normative identities. Inspired by Dębińska and her methodology of reversed roles, I analyzed selected diaries of LGBT+ people submitted to a competition organized in 2020 by the LGBT+ History and Identities Research Laboratory at ISNS UW. The analysis was an attempt to answer the question of what their non-normative identity means to the authors. Using Małgorzata Melchior's theory of complex individual identities and a collection of diaries, I outline a pattern of identities based on their internal dimension, which as a group — in their social dimension — are simultaneously constructed in relation to a heteronormative society. The work also encourages a departure from the analysis of identity categories alone in favor of an approach to non-normativity and non-binarity as practices of maneuvering within a system that denies them existence and the possibility of full self-expression.
dc.abstract.pl	W pracy analizuję nienormatywne tożsamości osób LGBT+, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem niebinarności płciowej. Celem było sprawdzenie, w jakim stopniu queerowa teoria płci odnosi się do doświadczeń nienormatywnych osób LGBT+ w Polsce. Zarysowuję historyczny kontekst powstania na Zachodzie współczesnego paradygmatu różnicy płciowej i chronologię wydarzeń kształtujących współczesne tożsamości osób LGBT+ w Polsce, przybliżam też wybrane wątki z queerowej teorii płci. Korzystając z publikacji Judith Butler, Marii Dębińskiej i Paula B. Preciado, poszukuję możliwych źródeł pozornych sprzeczności płciowo i seksualnie nienormatywnych tożsamości. Inspirując się Dębińską i jej metodologią odwróconych ról, przeanalizowałam wybrane pamiętniki osób LGBT+ nadesłane na zorganizowany w 2020 roku konkurs Pracowni Badań nad Historią i Tożsamościami LGBT+ z ISNS UW. Analiza była próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, co oznacza dla osób autorskich ich nienormatywna tożsamość. Korzystając z teorii Małgorzaty Melchior o złożonych tożsamościach jednostkowych i ze zbioru pamiętników zarysowuję wzór tożsamości osadzonych na ich wewnętrznym wymiarze, które jako grupa – w ich wymiarze społecznym – konstruowane są jednocześnie w relacji innego względem heteronormatywnego społeczeństwa. Praca zachęca również do odejścia od analizy wyłącznie kategorii tożsamościowych, na rzecz podejścia do nienormatywności i niebinarności jako praktyk lawirowania w systemie odmawiającym im istnienia i możliwości pełnego wyrażania siebie.
