„Profilowanie psychologiczne nieznanych sprawców przestępstw - charakterystyka i skuteczność metody”

dc.abstract.en	This master's thesis addresses the issue of criminal profiling as a heuristic tool supporting the investigative activities of law enforcement agencies. The primary research objective was to determine the tactical significance of behavioral analysis in investigative practice, reconstruct the leading profiling models, and critically evaluate the effectiveness of this method within the framework of Polish criminal procedure. The thesis provides a comprehensive characteristic of psychological and geographic profiling, compares the models applied in international and domestic practice, and analyzes the status and cognitive value of the offender profile in both operational and jurisdictional phases. The empirical core of the dissertation consists of a quantitative and qualitative survey conducted among retired police officers, aimed at reconstructing the authentic experiences of law enforcement personnel regarding the implementation of behavioral analysis. The research findings indicate that criminal profiling serves as a highly useful yet strictly subsidiary tool for tactical support in complex cases, provided that strict methodological skepticism is maintained and its pop-cultural myth is dismantled.
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca dyplomowa jest poświęcona problematyce profilowania kryminalistycznego jako heurystycznego instrumentu wspomagającego procesy wykrywcze organów ścigania. Głównym celem badawczym było określenie taktycznego znaczenia analizy behawioralnej w praktyce śledczej, rekonstrukcja wiodących modeli profilowania oraz krytyczna ewaluacja efektywności tej metody na gruncie polskiej procedury karnej. W pracy dokonano wszechstronnej charakterystyki profilowania kryminalistycznego i geograficznego, poddano porównaniu modele funkcjonujące w praktyce międzynarodowej oraz w Polsce, a także przeanalizowano status i wartość poznawczą profilu sprawcy w fazie operacyjnej i jurysdykcyjnej. Warstwę empiryczną dysertacji stanowi badanie ilościowo-jakościowe przeprowadzone metodą ankietową wśród emerytowanych funkcjonariuszy Policji, ukierunkowane na rekonstrukcję autentycznych doświadczeń formacji mundurowych w obszarze implementacji analiz behawioralnych. Wyniki badań własnych dowodzą, iż profilowanie stanowi wysoce użyteczne, acz ściśle subsydiarne narzędzie wsparcia taktycznego w sprawach o najwyższym stopniu zawiłości merytorycznej, pod warunkiem zachowania należytego krytycyzmu metodologicznego i odmitologizowania jego popkulturowej roli.
