Ezoteryczne imaginarium na dworze Rudolfa II. Mitologiczne alegorie jako wyraz alchemicznej przemiany

dc.abstract.enThis thesis analyzes the art at the court of Rudolf II in Prague from the perspective of esoteric content hidden in the mythological depictions of Bartholomäus Spranger and Joseph Heintz the Elder. A detailed interpretation of the paintings shows how the artists, through the use of colors, symbols, and archetypes, created visual representations of the alchemical process of transformation - the Great Work. The symbolic union of mythological deities representing opposing qualities fits within the framework of the coniunctio oppositorum, situating the works of the Prague court within the Hermetic canon of the era. The esoteric art at the court of Rudolf II constitutes a unique testimony to the interpenetration of art, alchemy, science, and spirituality, expressed in works with multilayered interpretive potential.
dc.abstract.plNiniejsza praca analizuje sztukę na dworze Rudolfa II w Pradze z perspektywy ezoterycznych treści ukrytych w mitologicznych przedstawieniach Bartholomäusa Sprangera i Josepha Heintza Starszego. Szczegółowa interpretacja obrazów ukazuje, w jaki sposób artyści, za pomocą kolorów, symboli i archetypów, stworzyli wizualne reprezentacje alchemicznego procesu przemiany, tzw. Wielkiego Dzieła. Symboliczne zjednoczenie mitologicznych bóstw, reprezentujących przeciwstawne cechy, wpisuje się w ramy idei coniunctio oppositorum, osadzając dzieła dworu praskiego w hermetycznym kanonie epoki. Sztuka ezoteryczna na dworze Rudolfa II stanowi wyjątkowe świadectwo przenikania się sztuki, alchemii, nauki i duchowości, którego wyrazem są dzieła o wielowarstwowym potencjale interpretacyjnym.
