La décharge mondiale comme métaphore du néocolonialisme : la portée politique d’Agbogbloshie dans Les Fils conducteurs de Guillaume Poix

dc.abstract.en	This work is devoted to the analysis of the portrayal of Agbogbloshie as a metaphor for neocolonialism in Guillaume Poix’s novel Les Fils conducteurs (2017). The analysis adopts an eco-critical perspective and draws on waste studies, treating electronic waste as a symbol of global inequality. Furthermore, in order to illustrate neocolonial dependencies between the wealthy North and the impoverished South, the study will be complemented by economic (Immanuel Wallerstein’s world-system theory) and sociological (Albert Memmi’s portrait of the coloniser).

Le point de départ de cette analyse est la perspective écocritique et les waste studies, qui permettent de se concentrer sur les déchets électroniques en tant que symbole des inégalités mondiales. Afin de montrer les relations néocoloniales entre un Nord riche et un Sud pauvre, l’étude sera approfondie par le contexte économique (théorie du système-monde d’Immanuel Wallerstein) et sociologique (portrait du colonisateur par Albert Memmi).
dc.abstract.pl	Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest analizie przedstawienia Agbogbloshie jako metafory neokolonializmu w powieści Les Fils conducteurs Guillaume’a Poixa (2017). Punktem wyjścia analizy jest perspektywa ekokrytyczna oraz waste studies, które pozwalają na skupienie się na elektronicznych odpadach jako symbolu globalnych nierówności. Dodatkowo w celu pokazania zależności neokolonialnych między bogatą Północą i biednym Południem praca zostanie pogłębiona o kontekst ekonomiczny (teoria systemu-świata Immanuela Wallersteina) oraz socjologiczny (portret kolonizatora Alberta Memmiego).
