Alexandre Dumas uses and expands it in order to create his own original story. The novel features two female characters who oscillate between the real and fantasy dimension. The first one is the embodiment of angelic beauty and innocence, while the second one represents the beauty of Medusa and a mysterious force.

Alexandre Dumas l’utilise et l’étend pour créer sa propre histoire originale. Dans le roman on trouve deux personnages féminins qui occupent une place importante dans le récit. Ils oscillent entre le monde réel et fantastique. Le premier d'entre eux est l’incarnation de la beauté angélique et charmante, tandis que le second représente la beauté méduséenne et envoûtante.

Aleksander Dumas wykorzystuje i rozszerza go, aby stworzyć swoją własną, oryginalną historię. W powieści występują dwie kobiece bohaterki, które oscylują między światem rzeczywistym a fantastycznym. Pierwsza z nich jest wcieleniem anielskiego piękna, dobroci i niewinności podczas gdy druga reprezentuje piękno Meduzy, tajemniczą, a zarazem czarującą siłę.
