Analiza rynku polskiej prasy teatralnej: studium przypadku czasopisma Teatr

dc.abstract.en	The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the development of contemporary theater and the role of Polish theater magazines in its promotion. The aim of the thesis is to present how contemporary periodicals influence the shaping of artistic debate and how they document the evolution of theater art. The origins of contemporary theater are discussed, from the French Revolution to its development in the 20th and 21st centuries, with particular emphasis on the influence of figures such as Adolphe Appia, Edward Gordon Craig, and Konstantin Stanislavski. The subsequent part of the thesis analyzes the Polish theater magazine market, including publications like Dialog, Didaskalia, Teatr Lalek, and Notatnik Teatralny. Their importance in shaping contemporary reflection on theater is presented, as well as their role in promoting both new and traditional theatrical forms. A key part of the thesis is the analysis of the monthly Teatr, one of the most important Polish theater periodicals. The thematic and structural changes in the magazine over the years 2012-2022 are examined, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on publications and the adaptation of theater to new conditions. The research results indicate that the Polish theater press plays a significant role in documenting contemporary trends in theater and promoting the art form. These periodicals not only review current theater events but also support the development of theater through theoretical reflections and socio-cultural analyses. The conclusions suggest that the digitalization of magazines and collaboration with young creators are crucial for their further development.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie, w jaki sposób współczesne periodyki wpływają na kształtowanie debaty artystycznej oraz jak dokumentują ewolucję sztuki teatralnej. Omówiona została geneza teatru współczesnego, od rewolucji francuskiej po jego rozwój w XX i XXI wieku, z uwzględnieniem wpływu postaci takich jak Adolphe Appia, Edward Gordon Craig oraz Konstantin Stanisławski.W dalszej części pracy przeanalizowano rynek polskich czasopism teatralnych, takich jak „Dialog”, „Didaskalia”, „Teatr Lalek” oraz „Notatnik Teatralny”. Przedstawiono ich znaczenie w kształtowaniu współczesnej refleksji o teatrze, a także omówiono ich rolę w promocji zarówno nowych, jak i tradycyjnych form teatralnych. Kluczową część pracy stanowi analiza miesięcznika „Teatr”, jednego z najważniejszych polskich periodyków teatralnych. Zbadano zmiany tematyczne i strukturalne, jakie zachodziły w czasopiśmie na przestrzeni lat 2012-2022, w tym wpływ pandemii COVID-19 na publikacje oraz adaptację teatru do nowych warunków. Wyniki badań wskazują, że polska prasa teatralna odgrywa istotną rolę w dokumentowaniu współczesnych trendów w teatrze oraz w promocji sztuki. Czasopisma nie tylko recenzują bieżące wydarzenia teatralne, ale również wspierają rozwój teatru poprzez refleksje teoretyczne i analizy społeczno-kulturowe. Wnioski sugerują, że digitalizacja czasopism oraz współpraca z młodymi twórcami są kluczowe dla ich dalszego rozwoju.
