Przyczyny i konsekwencje wyjścia Wielkiej Brytanii z Unii Europejskiej

dc.abstract.en	The purpose of this Bachelor's thesis is to analyse why the British voted to leave the European Union in the 2016 referendum, and the consequences of this decision, particularly for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The first chapter introduces theoretical concepts such as integration, disintegration, Europeanisation, de-Europeanisation and Euroscepticism. Understanding these concepts enables a more in-depth analysis of the processes that took place in Europe, paying particular attention to the United Kingdom. The second chapter aims to explain the difficult and complicated relationship between the United Kingdom and a unifying Europe, and to demonstrate the indirect cause of the UK's departure from the EU. The third chapter analyses the 2016 referendum results and attempts to explain why the British mostly voted for the 'leave' option, categorising the reasons as either indirect or direct. Finally, the process of Brexit negotiations between the British government and the European Union is presented. The final chapter addresses the political, legal, and economic consequences of Brexit. It also analyses the post-Brexit situation in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The work covers the period up to the end of 2024.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza powodów głosowania Brytyjczyków za wystąpieniem ze struktur Unii Europejskiej w referendum w 2016 roku oraz konsekwencji wyjścia z UE przede wszystkim dla samego Zjednoczonego Królestwa Wielkiej Brytanii i Irlandii Północnej. W pierwszy rozdziale zostały przybliżone takie zagadnienia teoretyczne, jak: proces integracji i dezintegracji, europeizacji i deeuropeizacji oraz eurosceptycyzm. Zrozumienie tych pojęć pozwala na głębsze analizę procesów, które miały miejsce w Europie, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Zjednoczonego Królestwa. Celem rozdziału drugiego jest z kolei przybliżenie trudnych i skomplikowanych relacji Wielkiej Brytanii z jednoczącą się Europą, a także jednocześnie jest to ukazanie pośredniej przyczyny wystąpienia Brytyjczyków z Unii. W rozdziale trzecim analizuję wyniki referendum z 2016 roku oraz próbuję wyjaśnić, dlaczego Brytyjczycy głosowali w większości za opcją leave, dzieląc przyczyny na pośrednie i bezpośrednie. Na końcu ukazany został także proces negocjacji brexitowych pomiędzy rządem brytyjskim a Unią Europejską. Ostatni rozdział odpowiada na pytanie, jakie są polityczne, prawne i gospodarcze skutki brexitu. Analizie poddana została także pobrexitowa sytuacja w Walii, Szkocji i Irlandii Północnej. Analizą w pracy został objęty okres do końca 2024 roku.
