Das Bild der Schweiz und der Schweizer anhand der Kurzgeschichten von Anaïs Meier und Lambert Król. Versuch eines Vergleichs

dc.abstract.en	The present master’s thesis undertakes an examination of the literary representations of Switzerland and its inhabitants in the micronarratives authored by Anaïs Meier and Lambert Król. Its primary objective is to delineate and critically assess the convergences and divergences in the ways Swiss reality is articulated from the vantage point of a native writer on the one hand, and, on the other, a foreign author—a Polish migrant who has resided in the canton of Aargau since 2009. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an analytical part. The theoretical section situates the inquiry within relevant literary, cultural, and sociological contexts, while also outlining the methodological framework and terminological apparatus pertinent to the study of micronarratives. Furthermore, it surveys the existing state of research on the subject, sketches an overview of twenty-first-century Swiss literature, and introduces the biographical and artistic profiles of the two authors, with particular attention to the distinctive features of their work. Given the inseparable linkage between the issues addressed and contemporary Swiss society, this part also incorporates reflections on ongoing socio-cultural and political transformations, with specific reference to the practice of direct democracy. The analytical section is devoted to the close reading and interpretation of selected micronarratives by both authors, with the aim of elucidating the mechanisms through which the image of Switzerland and its inhabitants is at once constructed and deconstructed. The analysis engages with a range of thematic dimensions, including social critique, questions of identity and migration, feminist and gender concerns, cultural and moral discourse, as well as stereotypes, national symbolism, and processes of mythologization. The investigation is conducted within the conceptual and methodological framework of New Historicism.

dc.abstract.other	Thema der vorliegenden Masterarbeit ist die Analyse des Bildes der Schweiz und ihrer Bewohner in Mikronarrationen von Anaïs Meier und Lambert Król. Ziel der vergleichenden Untersuchung ist es, Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten in der Darstellung der schweizerischen Realität aus der Perspektive einer einheimischen Autorin und eines ausländischen Schriftstellers – eines polnischen Migranten, der seit 2009 im Kanton Aargau lebt – herauszuarbeiten. Die Arbeit gliedert sich in einen theoretischen und einen analytischen Teil. Im theoretischen Teil werden literatur-, kultur- und sozialwissenschaftliche Kontexte sowie die Methodologie und Terminologie der Mikronarration vorgestellt. Darüber hinaus werden der Forschungsstand, ein Überblick über die Schweizer Literatur des 21. Jahrhunderts sowie die Porträts der beiden Autoren und die Besonderheiten ihres Schaffens erläutert. Da die analysierten Themen eng mit der zeitgenössischen Schweizer Gesellschaft verknüpft sind, beinhaltet dieser Teil auch eine Betrachtung aktueller gesellschaftlicher, kultureller und politischer Entwicklungen – mit besonderem Fokus auf die direkte Demokratie. Der analytische Teil widmet sich der Interpretation ausgewählter Mikronarrationen beide Autoren im Hinblick darauf, wie das Bild der Schweiz und ihrer Bewohner konstruiert und zugleich dekonstruiert wird. . Die Untersuchung stützt sich auf die theoretischen Ansätze und Erkenntnisse des New Historicism.
dc.abstract.pl	Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest próba analizy obrazu Szwajcarii i jej mieszkańców w mikronarracjach autorstwa Anaïs Meier i Lamberta Króla, ukierunkowana na ukazanie różnic i podobieństw w przedstawianiu szwajcarskiej rzeczywistości z perspektywy rodzimej autorki oraz zagranicznego pisarza – polskiego migranta, który od 2009 roku mieszka w kantonie Argowia. Praca składa się z części teoretycznej oraz analitycznej. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono konteksty literaturoznawcze, kulturoznawcze i socjologiczne, a także metodologię i terminologię mikroopowiadań. Ponadto omówiono stan badań nad tematem niniejszej pracy, zarys literatury szwajcarskiej XXI wieku oraz przedstawiono sylwetki obojga autorów oraz specyfikę ich twórczości. Ponieważ analizowane zagadnienia są ściśle powiązane ze współczesnym społeczeństwem Szwajcarii, część ta obejmuje również refleksję nad aktualnymi przemianami społecznymi, kulturowymi i politycznymi – ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem demokracji bezpośredniej. Część analityczna poświęcona jest interpretacji wybranych mikroopowiadań, obojga autorów, pod kątem tego, w jaki sposób konstruowany, a zarazem dekonstruowany jest obraz Szwajcarii i jej mieszkańców. Analiza uwzględnia takie aspekty, jak: krytyka społeczna, problematyka tożsamościowa i migracyjna, feminizm, zagadnienia genderowe, dyskurs kulturowy i obyczajowy, a także stereotypy, symbolika narodowa i mitologizacja. Badanie opiera się na założeniach teoretycznych i ustaleniach nurtu nowego historycyzmu.
