Porównanie miejsc pamięci w górniczych miejscowościach Norwegii

dc.abstract.en	Memorial sites can shape the identity of a community, but at the same time be an expression of it. Selected cities have undergone intense changes, thereby losing an integral part of their previous identity. Kongsberg, Røros, and Longyearbyen were important mining centers for many years, but now have completely different functions. The aim of this study was to compare memorial sites in selected mining towns in Norway and to explain the distribution and thematic diversity of these sites. The main research method was an inventory of memorial sites and their quantitative, qualitative, and cartographic analysis. The main source of data was online maps. The study revealed certain correlations. The number of memorials depends on the size and age of the town, but also on the permanence of settlement. Spatial diversity, on the other hand, depends mainly on the types of memorials and whether the subject is related to a specific location. Thematic diversity, on the other hand, is a result of the history of cities and the number of functions they perform. Despite many differences, the role of mining-related commemorations is noticeable in each city, testifying to the huge importance of this activity, but at the same time emphasizing that it is now a part of the past.
dc.abstract.pl	Miejsca pamięci mogą kształtować tożsamość społeczności, ale jednocześnie być jej wyrazem. Wybrane miasta doświadczyły intensywnych przemian, tracąc tym samym nieodzowny element swojej dotychczasowej tożsamości. Kongsberg, Røros oraz Longyearbyen przez lata stanowiły ważne górnicze ośrodki, lecz obecnie pełnią już zupełnie inne funkcje. Celem pracy było porównanie miejsc pamięci w wybranych miejscowościach górniczych Norwegii oraz wyjaśnienie rozmieszczenia i zróżnicowania tematycznego miejsc upamiętnień. Główną metodę badawczą stanowiła inwentaryzacja miejsc pamięci oraz ich ilościowa, jakościowa oraz kartograficzna analiza. Źródłem danych były przede wszystkim mapy internetowe. Badanie pozwoliło na wskazanie pewnych zależności. Liczba upamiętnień wynika z wielkości i wieku miasta, ale również trwałości osadnictwa. Zróżnicowanie przestrzenne natomiast zależy głównie od rodzajów upamiętnień oraz faktu, czy tematyka związana jest z konkretną lokalizacją. Tematyczne zróżnicowanie natomiast jest pokłosiem historii miast oraz liczby pełnionych przez nie funkcji. Mimo wielu różnic, w każdym z miast zauważalna jest rola upamiętnień związanych z górnictwem, które świadczą o ogromnym znaczeniu tej działalności, ale jednocześnie podkreślają, że jest to element należący już do przeszłości.
