Publicystyka Wandy Melcer z lat 1945-1956

dc.abstract.en	This thesis analyzes the journalistic work of Wanda Melcer from the years 1945–1956, onsidering it in the context of her life and overall literary activity. Actively involved in the literary and social life of postwar People's Poland, Melcer addressed topics such as the reconstruction of the country, the role of women, the shaping of a new social identity, and the settlement of the RegainedTerritories in her reports and columns. She primarily used her texts as tools of propaganda and social education, yet her journalism often went beyond simple political agitation. Characteristic of her writing are irony and the emotional engagement of the narrator, who not only comments but also evaluates the reality. On the one hand, her reports contributed to shaping the official ideological discourse of the communist regime; on the other, through insightful observation and critical perspective, they revealed the weaknesses and contradictions of postwar reality. The thesis focuses on the evolution of Melcer's postwar writing style, from initial strong ideological alignment to growing distance and reflection on real social issues.
dc.abstract.pl	Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza publicystyki Wandy Melcer z lat 1945–1956 na tle jej biografii i twórczości literackiej. Pisarka, aktywnie zaangażowana w życie literackie i społeczne powojennej Polski Ludowej, w swoich reportażach i felietonach podejmowała tematy takie jak odbudowa kraju, rola kobiet, kształtowanie nowej tożsamości społecznej oraz zagospodarowanie Ziem Odzyskanych. Wanda Melcer wykorzystywała swoje teksty głównie jako narzędzia propagandy i edukacji społecznej, jednak jej publicystyka często wykraczała poza proste ramy agitacji. Charakterystyczne dla jej twórczości są ironia oraz emocjonalne zaangażowanie narratorki, która jednocześnie komentuje i ocenia rzeczywistość, w której uczestniczy. Jej reportaże z jednej strony współtworzyły oficjalny dyskurs ideologiczny okresu PRL-u, z drugiej zaś – poprzez wnikliwą obserwację i krytyczne spojrzenie – odsłaniały słabości i sprzeczności powojennej rzeczywistości. Praca koncentruje się na ukazaniu ewolucji powojennego stylu pisarskiego Wandy Melcer, od początkowego podporządkowania ideologii państwowej do coraz większego dystansu i refleksji nad rzeczywistymi problemami społecznymi.
