Poczucie sprawiedliwości a decyzje finansowe

dc.abstract.en	The study examined the impact of feelings of injustice and materialism on financial decision-making. Two surveys were conducted as part of the study. A total of 260 people between the ages of 18 and 72 took part. The first study examined how people with different beliefs in a just world (Dalbert, 1999) and different levels of materialism (Richins et al., 2004) make financial decisions with regard to consumption, saving and investment, and how the interaction of these two variables translates into these decisions. The study found that a lower level of belief in a just world is associated with a higher level of consumption and also that a higher level of belief in a just world is associated with a higher level of investment. Materialism was not found to be a significant moderator of these relationships. The second study aimed to investigate how the manipulation of belief in a just world affects the financial decisions of the respondents and whether materialism can moderate this relationship. For this purpose, respondents were divided into two groups - one treated fairly and the other unfairly - and then asked to make hypothetical financial decisions. Levels of materialism were also measured among the respondents. The study found that there were no statistically significant differences between the experimental groups in their financial decisions. Also, the level of materialism was not related to the respondents decisions. Most of the formulated research hypotheses were not confirmed in the analyses. The discussion presents possible interpretations of the results obtained and the limitations of the study conducted.
dc.abstract.pl	W pracy sprawdzono wpływ poczucia niesprawiedliwości oraz materializmu na podejmowanie decyzji finansowych. W ramach pracy przeprowadzono dwa badania. Udział wzięło w nich łącznie 260 osób w wieku od 18 do 72 lat. W pierwszym badaniu sprawdzono, jak osoby o różnej wierze w sprawiedliwy świat (Dalbert, 1999) oraz różnym poziomie materializmu (Richins i in., 2004) podejmują decyzje finansowe z zakresie konsumpcji, oszczędzania oraz inwestycji oraz jak interakcja tych dwóch czynników przekłada się na te decyzje. Z badania wynika, że mniejsza wiara w sprawiedliwy świat jest powiązana z większą konsumpcją oraz również że większa wiara w sprawiedliwy świat jest powiązana z większymi inwestycjami. Materializm nie okazał się być istotnym moderatorem tych zależności. Drugie badanie miało na celu zbadać, jak manipulacja wiarą w sprawiedliwy świat wpływa na decyzje finansowe osób badanych oraz czy materializm może moderować tę relację. W tym celu podzielono osoby badane na dwie grupy – jedną potraktowaną sprawiedliwie i drugą niesprawiedliwie, a następnie poproszono je o podjęcie hipotetycznych decyzji finansowych. Wśród badanych zmierzono także poziom materializmu. Z badania wynika, że nie istniały statystycznie istotne różnice pomiędzy grupami eksperymentalnymi w ich decyzjach finansowych. Również poziom materializmu nie był związany z decyzjami osób badanych. Większość sformułowanych hipotez badawczych nie została potwierdzona w analizach. W dyskusji przedstawiono możliwe interpretację uzyskanych rezultatów oraz ograniczenia przeprowadzonego badania.
