Zwang und Emanzipationsversuche in Die Klosterschule von Barbara Frischmuth

dc.abstract.en	This master’s thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the novel The Convent School by Barbara Frischmuth, with particular emphasis on the themes of male-female relationships, power, religion, the routine of everyday life, and the psychological aspects associated with attending convent schools. The thesis also focuses on religious education as a tool of internal discipline and a source of psychological tension for the female protagonists.

Die Arbeit befasst sich außerdem mit der religiösen Erziehung als Mittel innerer Disziplin und als Quelle psychischer Anspannung für die Protagonistinnen.
