Tożsamość zawodowa i rola kapitału społecznego w pracy animatora w centrum nauki na przykładzie Centrum Nauki Kopernik

dc.abstract.en	The subject of this paper is the role of educators in science centers. It explores the concept of science centers and discusses issues related to informal educators in similar institutions. The paper analyzes focus group interviews with animators at the Copernicus Science Centre, which address understanding their role and how they engage with visitors. The other subject of exploration is the potential for professionalisation of educators in science centers and the role of social capital in their work. The research findings demonstrate that the animator role is complex and requires a range of interpersonal communication skills. The interviewees share a coherent narrative regarding their vision of the science center and their understanding of their role in working with visitors. However, they experience difficulty defining their role to those outside the institution.
dc.abstract.pl	Tematem niniejszej pracy jest rola edukatorów w centrach nauki. Praca przybliża ideę powstania centrów nauki, a także zagadnienia związane z edukatorami nieformalnymi w podobnych placówkach. W pracy analizowane są wywiady fokusowe z animatorami Centrum Nauki Kopernik, w których poruszana jest tematyka rozumienia ich roli i sposobów nawiązywania kontaktów ze zwiedzającymi. Eksplorowany jest także potencjał profesjonalizacji zawodu edukatora w centrum nauki oraz rola kapitału społecznego w ich pracy. Otrzymane wyniki badań pokazują, że funkcja animatora jest wieloaspektowa oraz wymaga wielu kompetencji z zakresu komunikacji interpersonalnej. Badane osoby prowadzą spójną narrację dotyczącą wizji funkcjonowania centrum nauki oraz rozumienia swojej roli w pracy ze zwiedzającymi. Doświadczają jednak problemów w definiowaniu swojej roli osobom spoza instytucji.
